Terms
These are the terms you agree to by using joogoos. If something here is unclear, write to us and we will answer plainly.
What you are buying
Credits, in dollars, which are spent on the work you ask joogoos to do. Credits are not money on deposit and are not redeemable for cash. They have an expiry date, shown when you buy them, and you get an email a month before any of them expire.
Each step is charged at what the provider billed us plus our margin. An estimate is shown before each run and the real cost is itemised after it. If a step fails and we were not billed for it, you are not charged.
Refunds
Unspent credits can be refunded within fourteen days of purchase — write in and we will send the money back the way it came. Credits already spent on work that ran are not refundable, because the providers have already been paid. If something is broken on our side and you were charged for it, tell us and we will put credits back.
What you own
Your photos are yours. What joogoos makes from them is yours too: you can use it commercially, edit it, publish it, without asking us and without paying anything further. We claim no licence over your content beyond what we need to run the service for you — storing it, sending it to the provider that processes a step, and showing it back to you.
The recipes behind what gets made — how many shots, how they move, how the words look — are ours and are shared with other businesses. Your photographs and your finished work never are.
What you are responsible for
- Having the right to use the photos you upload.
- Whatever you publish. joogoos writes drafts; a person presses the last button, and that person is you.
- Keeping your sign-in email secure, and telling us if it is not.
- Being truthful in what you publish, and complying with the rules of whatever platform you publish to.
What we will not host
Content that is illegal, that impersonates a real person or organisation, that sexualises anyone, that harasses, that is designed to deceive people about who is speaking, or that is used to generate a real person's likeness or voice without their consent. We will close an account doing any of that, and refund what is unspent.
AI, and what it does not promise
joogoos uses AI models. They make mistakes, they invent things, and the same brief run twice will not give the same video. Read what it wrote before you publish it. We do not warrant that any output is accurate, original, or fit for any particular purpose, and you should not publish anything you have not looked at.
The service itself
We will try to keep it up and we will tell you when it is not. We may change how it works, and we may add or remove features. If we discontinue the service we will give you notice and refund unspent credits. Providers can fail, rate-limit us, or change their prices; when that happens the price list changes and this page's terms do not.
Liability
Our liability to you is limited to the amount you have spent with us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for what you publish, for lost profits, or for anything that follows from a provider's failure. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Ending it
Close your account whenever you like; we refund unspent credits bought in the previous fourteen days. We can close an account that breaks these terms, and will say why.
