Deleting your data
Three sizes of delete: one file, one connected channel, or the whole account. All of them are things you can do yourself, and none of them needs a conversation with us first.
One file
Anything in your media library — a photo you uploaded or an image, clip or video joogoos made — can be deleted from the library. It disappears from the app straight away and the underlying file is queued for permanent removal from storage, which completes within thirty days. Encrypted backups made before the deletion age out on their own thirty-day cycle.
One connected channel
When publishing to a channel exists, disconnecting it is in Settings → Connected accounts. Disconnect calls the platform's own revocation endpoint immediately, then deletes the stored token. After that we hold no credential that could act on your behalf, and the platform will refuse any request that tried. You can also revoke us from the platform's own settings — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube and X all have a connected-apps page. Posts already published stay published; delete those on the platform.
The whole account
Settings → Account → Delete account, or emailsupport@joogoos.com from the address on the account. Either way:
- Any connected channel is revoked and its token deleted, immediately.
- Sign-in stops working and every session is ended, immediately.
- Your workspace, media, projects, briefs, scripts and rendered files are marked deleted immediately and are permanently removed within thirty days.
- Unspent credits bought in the previous fourteen days are refunded.
- Encrypted backups containing your data age out within thirty days and are not restored selectively.
What survives, and why: the records of payments we are required to keep for tax and accounting — the amount, the date and the invoice — for as long as the law says, with no content attached to them. Nothing else.
Asking us instead
If you cannot get into the account, emailsupport@joogoos.com from the address it was opened with and say what you want deleted. We will confirm and do it within thirty days, and tell you when it is done. There is no charge and we will not try to talk you out of it.
